So there you have it, Velocity has been released. That was what the title of my previous journal was alluding to. Now that it is done, along with two collaborations and one line art, I am going to be moving on.

I am starting to feel my own style start to creep up to me. I'm totally digging what I'm feeling, but I don't know where it is going to take me yet. I have an idea of what it will look like, but I can tell it will be a little while. I have a feeling I am going to be doing more fan art because it is so fun to draw characters that I have admired and grown up with over the years. I also have one more collab on my list that I have to do, which will be another fan art as well. Can you guess what it will be?

I am going to continue to draw throughout these months because the weather is starting to get rainy here in Vancouver. I didn't draw so much in the summer because of all the nice weather, but winter time is prime drawing season for me. I discovered that on my own. Drawing during the summer just doesn't work with me. I feel like I am taking the weather for granted and it feels disgusting. Rainy weather means people staying inside, which means I can draw on those days and have it feel legit.

Anyhow, I got my braces off and have a retainer in its place after almost 2 and a half years, and I will be wearing a retainer for anywhere from 6 months to a full year 24 hours a day. My karate is going well and I am getting much smoother, focused and experienced. I now know 9 katas and have another 12 to learn, from what I know. I am going to be going for my test in November to see if I advance to a 6th or even 5th (if I am super good) kyu white belt. Damn I feel good about karate! I will be going back to the gym after about 2 and a half years as well starting tomorrow. I have been feeling the urge to go to the gym for so long and now it's starting to reach a crazy level. I am going to buy a membership and go about 4 times a week, maybe 5 if I feel like it. That makes 2 days (the odd 3) for karate and 5 for the gym. I feel so psyched! I have an on-call job at a heating and plumbing company that pays well and lets me learn lots, but I want to get another, more consistent job. It will keep my occupied, let me meet knew people, learn new things, and feel empowered. It will also let me buy a gym membership because I am broke right now. I can't wait! After getting a job and a gym membership, I am going to feel like the happiest guy in the world! I am PSYCHED!!

Oh yeah, I also forgot to mention that I finally have gotten somewhere with my overture for Elements. The basic intro is laid out, and now major work can begin with guitar, bass, drums and other keyboard elements. It is sounding good right now, and that is only with piano. I can't imagine what it will sound like when even just guitar is added! I am going to update my album art with a link to the WIP of the song, and then in the next couple of months I am going to update the album art and make a new one with fresh new links as well. In fact, here it is for you in case you don't want to view the deviation.

Damn, I feel on top of the world.
